Language Monday

Good afternoon,

We kicked off our morning with some quiet reading before talking about how to add detail to our written work. Some of the words we can use to add detail include when, once, if, and sometimes. We don't like using the word 'because' as it begins to sound repetitive.

When we came in from gym, we practiced using these words in our writing. After recess, Ms. Zimmermann's class did yoga while Mr. Fisher's class went to music. When we gathered before lunch, we got our new words for the week.

This afternoon, we did some quiet reading before finishing our Inuit Clothing Art from Friday. We then went outside to read with our buddies before coming in to clean up and get ready for home.

Book Orders went home today, and they will be due sometime next week. A date will be set towards the end of this week.
