Terrific Tuesday

Good afternoon!

We kicked off our morning with some quiet reading and then moved into finishing our spelling practice from yesterday. We had to write our words 3 times each before using them in a sentence.

When we came in from our outdoor Phys. Ed, we did some more spelling. After recess, Ms. Zimmermann's class went to music, while Mr. Fisher's class listened to a story. When we all got together before lunch, we did some catch up work which included spelling, math, and science.

SPELLING WORDS

MS. Z's Group:

stick
kick
back
zoo
root
quick
look
looked
pack
cook

MR. F's Group (only 8 this week):

ropes
bones
kites
bees
cakes
boxes
foxes
roses

After lunch, we continued on with our quiet reading before Mrs. Grunert's class joined us to learn more about worms! Today we learned about their habitat and the type of environment they like to live in. We also did two science experiments with our worms, one of which was called Wet or Dry? and the other, Here Comes the Sun! Ask your child to tell you all about it.

We ended the day with a movement break and some more of our novel Silverwing.
